Excerpt

She hardly even noticed her punishment had ended, her bottom was so hot. Within seconds, Sean released her legs and gathered her in his arms. He brought her head to her chest. Placing a kiss on her forehead, he held her tight.

“It’s okay, baby girl. It’s all over. You’re my good girl now.”

His voice was soothing and calm and held a hint of pride. He ran his hands up and down her back in almost a featherlike touch. Being held close to him made her feel safe and sound. Cuddling closer to him, she laid her head on his shoulder as her tears began to dry. After a long moment, he resituated her on his lap and brushed his thumbs across her cheeks to capture any residual wetness from her tears.

His eyes were warm as he gazed at her, soft and no longer stern. He pressed his lips to her forehead again and she couldn’t help but smile a little. His gentleness surprised her, yet made her feel completely cared for.

“Forgive me, Daddy?” she asked quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. It should feel weird to call him that, but it didn’t. Instead, it felt strangely right and deep inside her, her heart softened.

“Of course, sweetheart. Consider the whole thing forgotten.”

“My bottom hurts,” she pouted. When she saw him smirk a little, her pout deepened.

“Meanie,” she teased.

“Just for you, naughty little girl,” he goaded right back, his smile growing larger by the second.

“Come now, let me put some lotion on that red backside and get you back to bed for the night. Tomorrow you’ll start your training and you’re going to need to be very well rested.”
